AudioAtlas ("we", "our", "us") is a natural language music search service operated by MatchTune. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

• Search queries: We store the text you search for, along with anonymized usage stats (result counts, timestamps) to improve the service.
• Contact form submissions: Name, email, company, and message content when you contact us.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, referrer, for security, rate limiting, and bot prevention via Google reCAPTCHA.
• Cookies: We use a minimal set of cookies for language preference and GDPR consent. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

How we use it

• To provide and improve search quality.
• To respond to your contact requests via email (delivered via Brevo).
• To prevent abuse (rate limiting, reCAPTCHA).
• We never sell your data.

Third parties

• Google reCAPTCHA v3: bot detection. Google Privacy Policy.
• Brevo: transactional email delivery. Brevo Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic / OpenAI: query text may be sent to LLM APIs for semantic understanding. No personal data is sent with queries.

Your rights (GDPR)

Data retention

Search queries are retained for 12 months. Contact form messages are retained for 24 months unless a shorter period is requested.
